CITY COUNCIL CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. Sylvia Frolik Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon City Engineer Steve Jankowski Fire Chief Dean Kapler Fire Marshal Streich Police Chief James Way City Attorney William Goodrich Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 7:10 p.m., followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Councilmember Strommen. PRESENTATION: St. Katherine Drexel Community Event in the Park, by Carolyn Baldus Ms. Carolyn Baldus announced St. Katherine Drexel Church will be hosting the first annual Community Event in the Park at 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in Central Park. The event is intended to be a fun, family friendly event that will include children's events, raffle tickets, beer sales, and a concert featuring four musical artists from the area. It is expected that the new building at the park will be completed and can be used for the event. Tickets will go on sale April 20th. The cost will be $8 per person at the door with children 10 and under free. Ms. Baldus stated St. Katherine Drexel Church has begun to work with City staff to plan this event.
