7, has a dip existing in the front yard. He indicated there are parties interested in building in the <br />area, however, are concerned about the front yards. The berm between Lot 5 and 6 would be <br />used to fill Lot 5 and 6. Lot 8 would propose that they would have the option to bring in <br />additional material if needed at time of construction. <br /> <br />Larry Koshak, 15700 St. Andrews Lane NW, objected to the conditional use permit due to <br />erosion issues. He stated residents would have sand blowing onto their lots and indicated seeding <br />had been poor in the past on the part of North Fork. He questioned how many times conditional <br />use permits would be granted to North Fork. <br /> <br />Mr. Peck suggested the grading could occur when the lots are built upon and understood the <br />concerns expressed. He stated there is an interested buyer for Lot 5. He stated nothing would <br />need to happen to Lot 8 until there were plans for home construction. He requested the option at <br />that time to make grades aesthetically pleasing. <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden questioned where the source of the materials would be hauled from. Mr. <br />Peck indicated the minor haul would occur on Block 2 ofltasca Shores. He indicated there <br />would be approximately 400 cubic yards of dirt equaling 40 truckloads. <br /> <br />David Ballard, 9370 164th Avenue NW, indicated he owns Lot 9 which abuts Site A. He stated in <br />the past his lot had runoff.which washed out his driveway. He constructed a dike to keep the <br />water from running onto his property. He stated Site A sits high and requested the elevation be <br />lowered. He asked that the house be set back on the lot so as to not obstruct the view from his <br />home. <br /> <br />Mr. Peck indicated he was unaware of the drainage concern and stated willingness to work with <br />Mr. Ballard. He proposed the runoff.go into Lot 6, if the landowner and City Engineer approved. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Terry, seconded by Commissioner Deemer, to close the public heating <br />at 8:23 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion Carried.
