PUBLIC HEARING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, August 4, 1998, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota, regarding a <br />request for a conditional use permit for a personal communication system antenna on the City <br />water tower; case of PageMart Wireless, Inc. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson David Bawden <br />Commissioner Leo Anderson <br />Commissioner Benjamin Deemer <br />Commissioner Sharon Jensen <br />Commissioner Charles LaDue <br />Commissioner Michael Terry <br />Commissioner Joe Wivoda <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />Community Development Assistant Sean Walther <br />City Engineer Steven Jankowski <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden convened the public hearing at 7:36 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated the applicant proposed to install a 6 foot diameter satellite dish <br />antenna on the City water tower in order to operate a personal communication system (PCS). <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Tom Berent, PageMart Field Service Technician, said the resolution stated PageMart would lease <br />space for a 6 foot diameter satellite dish and a 6' x 2' x 2' equipment cabinet inside the tower. He <br />indicated that is incorrect and stated PageMart proposed to have a 6 foot dish, two eight-foot <br />stick antennas, one GPS antenna and two 6' x 2' x 2' equipment cabinets side by side inside the <br />tower. <br /> <br />Public Hearing/Planning Commission/August 4, 1998 <br /> Page I of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
