Voting Yes: Acting Chairperson Deemer, Commissioners Anderson, Jensen, <br />LaDue, and Wivoda. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Bawden. <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson Deemer said that he had stated at a previous Planning Commission meeting <br />the increased site elevation of two feet needed to be resolved and would involve a grading and <br />mining permit. Community Development Director Sherman stated one reason for changing the <br />elevation of the site was due to the concern with parking. City Engineer Jankowski stated if the <br />site was not raised the current grade would be seven or eight-percent. Af[er the site's elevation is <br />raised there would be a five or six-percent slope on the driveway into the underground parking <br />garages. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Anderson, seconded by Commissioner LaDue, to recommend that City <br />Council adopt Resolution #98-10-XXX adopting the amended Findings of Fact relating to the <br />conditional use permit to export soils fromthe senior housing site. <br /> <br />Planning Commission/October 6, 1998 <br /> Page 10 of 13 <br /> <br /> <br />
