Absent: Chairperson Bawden. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson Deemer adjourned the regular meeting at 7:35 p.m. in order to conduct the <br />following public hearing: <br /> <br />Request for a Home Occupation Permit to Establish a Dog Grooming Business in the R-1 <br />Residential District; Case of Julie Kucia <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson Deemer called the regular meeting back to order at 7:44 p.m. in order to <br />return to Case #1, as that applicant had arrived. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS - Continued <br /> <br />Case #1: Modifications to Diamonds Sports Bar Site Plan; Case of Gary Gruber <br /> <br />Community Development Assistant Walther explained the owners of the Diamonds Sports Bar & <br />Grill, Inc., approached the City with a request for modifications to their site and landscape plans. <br />The first issue is the request for an accessory building on the site in which to store equipment, <br />primarily for grounds maintenance. The second issue is the landscaping plan. <br /> <br />Community Development Assistant Walther stated City Code restricts accessory buildings in the <br />B-3 Highway Business District to 30-percent of the gross floor area of the principal building.
