Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: • RESOLUTION # RESOLUTION GRANTING A LEAVE OF ABSENCE TO A CITY EMPLOYEE WHEREAS, Mr. Drew Moldenhauer, community service officer, has requested an eight -week leave of absence to attend Skills Training to become a patrol officer; and WHEREAS, if approved by the City Council, Mr. Moldenhauer's leave of absence would be from May 21, 2007 —July 13, 2007; and WHEREAS, barring extenuating circumstances on Mr. Moldenhauer's part or on the part of the city, it is expected that Mr. Moldenhauer would return to the City of Ramsey as a community service office upon completion of Skills Training. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the personnel committee to grant/not grant an eight -week leave of absence to Mr. Drew • Moldenhauer to attend Skills Training to become a patrol officer The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 8"' day of May 2007.
