Street and 142" Avenue. The Committee recommended installation of a street light at this <br />location using funds from the Priority Street Lighting Fund. <br />Motion by Acting Mayor Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Jeffrey, to ratify the <br />recommendation of the Public Works Committee in Case No. 12 and to direct staff to install a <br />traditionaire street light at the entrance to Rivers Bend Park at the corner of Waco Street and <br />142" Avenue, using funds from the Priority Street Lighting Fund. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Mayor Elvig, Councilmembers Jeffrey, Dehen, Look, <br />Olson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Gamec. <br />MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br />Acting Mayor Elvig announced the following events: <br />• Employee Appreciation Breakfast: April 25 at the Ramsey Room in the Municipal <br />Center. <br />• Arbor Day Events including street plantings on Sunwood Drive: April 27" <br />• Spring Recycling Day: April 28 d ', 8:00 a.m. to noon at the Public Works Facility <br />• Ramsey3 Community Visioning Process: May 4 & 5 th <br />Councilmember Strommen stated the Ramsey3 community visioning process is the lead into the <br />Comprehensive Plan. The process will only work if there are as many people present as <br />possible. This process is unique to Ramsey. There is no set agenda and no one necessarily in <br />charge. Those that come get to give their input. <br />Councilmember Jeffrey stated he attended this type of session at the Technical College and the <br />folks that were there created the agenda. He is looking forward to this process in Ramsey. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br />Motion carried. <br />The regular meeting of the City Council adjourned at 11:19 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Heidi A.
