Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: • RESOLUTION 07 -05 -xx RESOLUTION RATIFYING CHANGE ORDERS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF NEW RAMSEY MUNICIPAL CENTER WHEREAS, the City Council established by resolution levels of authority on May 24"', 2005, for the approval of project change orders to allow for construction to proceed while managing minor project changes; and WHEREAS, the established levels of Authority for the Construction of the new Ramsey Municipal Center are as follows: City Council approval required for change orders greater than $25,000, City Council ratification of all change orders less than $25,000, Facility Committee approval required for change orders greater than $10,000 but less than $25,000, ratification by City Council, Project Team of Heidi A. Nelson, Interim City Administrator approval required for change orders not greater than $10,000, ratification by City Council; and WHEREAS, the following change orders have been reviewed by BKV Group and 3D /I Construction Managers and have been approved by either the Facility Committee or the Project Team. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: Change Order No. 1151 -15 $11,451.71 • Provide fall protection grates at air handling units; replace fire dampers w /fire /smoke dampers; furnish and install condensate piping including transfer pump; remove part from air handling unit. Change Order No. 1092 -02 $ 1,237.00 Install crack suppression membranes; slate tile for various rooms. Change Order No. 2171 -02 $17,370.17 Add additional on/off switch for interview room A/V; provide wireless receiver and transmitter for door release buttons; provide on/off switches for DVR; add card reader; shielded audio wire /interview rooms to DVR; upgrade keyboard. Change Order No. 1153 -02 $3,978.00 Mount/provide connection - chiller remote control panel; Libert unit monitoring. Change Order No. 1021 -06 ($456.25) Adjust finish elevation on catch basin; replaceme broken glass. Change Order No. 1061 -17 $6,700.00 Furnish & install fire extinguisher and bracket; furnish & install wood blocking; install fire treated wood; straighten frame on door; credit for reduced pricing; install window shades in various locations. Change Order No. 1061 -19 $3,548.00 Additional keys; threshold opening; install door, armor plates; re- installation of blocking. Change Order No. 1041 -09 ($11,247.00) Backcharge due to piers out of tolerance for aluminum window system. • Change Order No. 1032-02 ($821.00) Backcharge -scope of work.
