<br />Councilmember Olson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-03-083 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS <br />DIRECTOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Brian Olson was appointed Public Works Director on March 14, 2006 and <br />was subject to a one-year probationary period; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Olson has successfully completed the required one-year probationary <br />period; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its March 27, 2007 meeting agreed <br />with staff s recommendation to end the probationary period for Brian Olson, effective March 14, <br />2007. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) The City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel <br />Committee to end the probationary period for Brian Olson, effective March 14,2007 and <br />retain Mr. Olson as the full-time regular Public Works Director. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was dilly seconded by Councilmember <br />Elvig, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />
