<br />Councilmember Jeffrey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-04-090 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONTINUATION OF CONSULTING SERVICES <br />WITH THE TINKLENBERG GROUP FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2007 WITH FUNDING <br />FROM THE COUNCIL CONTINGENCY IN A NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF <br />$40,000 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City has used The Tinklenberg Group as a transportation consultant <br />since 2003; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, to retain their services for year 2007 for such projects as Highway 47, <br />Highway 10 and other transportation issues; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, due to the lack of unallocated consulting funds in the 2007 General Fund <br />Budget; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at a worksession on March 27,2007, it was recommended to allocate a not- <br />to-exceed amount of $40,000 from the Council Contingency Fund to fund Tinklenberg's services <br />for year 2007. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the continuation of consulting services <br />with The Tinklenberg Group for calendar year 2007 in a not to exceed amount of $40,000 <br />with funding from the Council Contingency Account of the 2007 General Fund Budget. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Strommen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Olson <br /> <br />and the following voted against: <br /> <br />None <br />
