. . . 8. Unemployment Benefits. In the event Employee makes a claim for unemployment benefits, the City will respond to inquiries from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, but the City agrees it will not contest said claim for unemployment benefits. 9. Restraint. The termination of an employment relationship can be difficult for both parties. Both parties agree to end this relationship in a mutually respectful manner. 10. Entire Al!1'eement. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. The parties agree that there were no inducements or representations leading to the execution of this Agreement between the parties other than those contained in this Agreement. No changes to this Agreement are valid unless they are in writing and signed by both parties. 11. VoluntarY and Knowing: Action. Employee represents and agrees that (a) he has had an opportunity to consult with legal counsel of his choosing; (b) he has read this Agreement and fully understands the terms and condition$ contained herein; ( c) he relies solely upon his own judgment regarding the proper, complete and agreed upon consideration for, and language ot: this Agreement; (d) he has not been influenced to sign this Agreement by any statements or representations of the City or its agents or attorneys not contained in this Agreement; and (e) he enters into this Agreement knowingly and voluntarily.
