<br />Councilmember Jeffrey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-04-092 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING RAMSEY LIONS CLUB. APPLICATION FOR A <br />PREMISE PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT M &L LIQUOR IN RAMSEY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey Lions Club. has applied for a premise permit for gambling at <br />M&L Liquor, 5900-167th Avenue NW Ramsey; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey Lions Club. has requested Council waive the 30-day notice <br />provision; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br />requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City, Council hereby approves the premise permit application for the <br />Ramsey Lions Club, Inc. to operate lawful gambling at M&L Liquor, 5900-167th Avenue <br />NW Ramsey <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. <br /> <br />2) <br />3) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance <br />Officer to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota <br />Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Strommen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Olson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br />
