<br />Ms. Barnes replied because this is an assisted living and memory care facility the number of staff <br />would not be the same as for a nursing home. Based on their experience there is plenty of staff <br />parking included between the parking lots and the street parking. <br /> <br />Commissioner Levine inquired about the number of residents that will be in the assisted living <br />and memory care facility when they are full. <br /> <br />Ms. Barnes replied there is a total of 152 units; 103 in independent living, 31 in assisted living, <br />and 18 in memory care. Some of the units may be dual occupied. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt asked if the applicant has any comments or observations regarding the Staff <br />Review Letter. <br /> <br />Ms. Barnes responded in the negative. She stated Crest View is excited to be part of Ramsey <br />Town Center. Town Center is a good concept the City has worked hard for and it should move <br />forward. She indicated 70% presales in the independent housing is required before the facility <br />can break ground. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Trites Rolle, to recommend that the <br />City Council approve the preliminary site plan for Crest View at Ramsey Town Center, <br />contingent upon compliance with the City Staff review letter dated March 30, 2007. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. V oting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Trites Rolle, Brauer, Cleveland, <br />Hunt, and Levine. Voting No: None.
