9.0 <br /> <br />10.0 <br /> <br />The owner designation "By Others" represents the portion of the cost that would <br />be financed by funds other than those provided by the District. This cost <br />represents the benefit that the District Trunk Storm Sewer system provides for <br />properties outside the District. The benefit consists of providing the existing <br />stormwater ponds located in the Business Park a positive overflow to the <br />Mississippi. The "By Others" cost percentage is based on constructing a 15-inch <br />outlet pipe which would only service the Business Park. This cost was estimated <br />to be $102,500, which includes the construction and overhead costs. <br /> <br />PROJECTED PROJECT SCHEDULE <br /> <br />If the City should elect to proceed with the improvements, the following schedule <br />could be anticipated: <br /> <br />.1) Present feasibility study and set date of public hearing <br /> <br />2) Hold public hearing <br /> <br />3) Order plans and specifications <br /> <br />4) Pass condemnation resolution <br /> <br />5) Approve plans and specifications and authorize bids <br /> <br />6) Receive bids and award project <br /> <br />7) Finalize land acquisition <br /> <br />8) Initiate construction <br /> <br />9) Complete construction <br /> <br />January 25, 2000 <br />February 8, 2000 <br />February 22, 2000 <br />February 22, 2000 <br />March 28, 2000 <br /> <br />April 25, 2000 <br />May 15, 2000 <br />May 15, 2000 <br />July 31, 2000 <br /> <br />The above schedule is based on utilizing the Storm Sewer Improvement Tax <br />District per Minnesota Statute 844. Should the city decide to fund the project <br />using alternate methods of financing, the schedule may need to be modified. <br /> <br />SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATIONS " ~ <br /> <br />The proposed improvements are technically feasible and will benefit the area <br />served.
