City Administrator Norman indicated Mr. McCombs had thfeemeet/~g Wi{h' the Town Center Task Force. He advised Mr. McCombs to factor in four meetings for this new study. Chair Riley stated it appears to.be a lot of money for work that they pa~tially comPl'eted already. Member LeToumeau expressed his enthusiasm when the prospect of redeveloping this comer, which includes :Iris business. He suspects that the comer will be very different in a few years. He stated that while he doesn't know how the Town Center will affect the area, he thinks there will continue,to)be a need for services there. He stated his business has been on the comer for 1.8 years, Supm'Valu for 20 years, both providing a consistent tax base for the City, not to mention the.job opportunities.
