AUTHORIZING .THE SALE OF <br /> OUTLOT A <br />AEC ENERGY PARK FOURTH ADDITION, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />CASE # <br /> <br />By: William K. Goodrich, City AttorneY <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Outlot A AEC ENERGY PARK FOURTH ADDITION is located adjacent to the Anderson and- <br />Dahlen facility on Sunwood Drive NW Knoll Properties, LLC, the real estate holding company for <br />Anderson and Dahlen, Inc. was granted an option to buy Outlot A by the City as a part of the 1999 <br />TIF agreement between the City and Knoll Properties. The option to buy expired on Dec. 31', 2002 <br />and it was not exercised by Knoll Properties. City staff believes the. City should now declare Outlot <br />A as "excess property" and offer it for sale. A notice Of sale has been published in the Anoka <br />County Union requesting purchase proposals. Knoll Properties LLC continues to be interested in <br />purchasing said Outlot A. If the council approves the enclosed ordinance, the City will be declaring <br />Outlot A to be smplus property and it can then be sold on the terms and-conditions the Council <br />deems in the best interests to the City. It is anticipated that one or more purchase agreements will <br />be presented to the council to review and accept relating to a sale of this Property~ <br /> <br />Enclosure: <br /> <br />Proposed ordinance. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the enclosed ordinance be introduced. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to introduce Ordinance 03-__ which is an ordinance authorizing the sale of Outlot A, <br />AEC ENERGY PARK FOURTH ADDITION, Anoka COunty, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />Sean Sullivan, TIF Specialist <br /> <br />-91- <br /> <br /> <br />
