Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #03-02-XXX RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #03-03 (SEALCOAT AND CRACKFILL' RIVLYN AVENUE, DOLOMITE STREET AND 137TM AVENUE (DOLOMITE FROM RIVERDALE TO 137TM AVENUE) (137TM AVENUE FROM DOLOMITE TO RIVENWICK) WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey pUblic Works Committee, adopted January 21, 2003, a feasibility study for the 2003 Street Maintenance Program has been prepared by Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project #03-03 (Rivlyn Avenue, Dolomite Street and 137th Avenue (Dolomite from Riverdale to 137th Avenue( (137th Avenue from Dolomite to Rivenwick);. and WHEREAS, the report was received by the Ramsey City Council on February 11, 2003 which indicates the following: Estimated total cost of project $7,403 Estimated total assessment $3,702 Estimated assessment per unit (3-year term) $102.83 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements of 1½ inch bituminous filling of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the 'cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramsey City. Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of $7,403. 2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 1 lth day of March, 2003 at Ramsey Fire Station No. 2, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW at 7:00 p.m: and the City Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by CoUncilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: -151-
