Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moVed for its adoption: RESOLUTION #03-02-XXX RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #03-06 (BITUMINOUS OVERLAY. OF 156TH AVENUE FROM ARMSTRONG AND VARIOLITE) WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey Public Works committee, adopted January 21, 2003, a feasibility study for the 2003 Street Maintenance Program has been prepared by Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project #03-06 (Bituminous Overlay of 156th Avenue from Armstrong to Vadolite Street); and WHEREAS, the report was received by the Ramsey City Council on February 11, 2003 which indicates the following: Estimated total cost of project $29,289 Estimated total assessment $14,645 Estimated assessment per unit (3~year term) $665.68 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements of 1V2 inch bituminous filling of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of $29,289. 2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 1 lth day of March, 2003 at Ramsey Fire Station No. 2, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW at 7:00 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such heating and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution Was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following Voted in favor thereof: -157'
