Mayor Gamec replied that they would probably use MSA funds since it is a MSA
road. Councilmember Pearson stated that if theY allow a temporary intersection and then it has to
be redone he would 1.ike to know who would have to pay the bill. Councilmember Kurak replied
that she did not believe that it would be a temporary intersection: City Engineer· Jankowski
explained that the intersection of Ramsey Boulevard and Riverdale Drive would need t° move
200 feet to the south at an estimated cost of $180,000~ The estimated-cost o£.Signalizing the
intersection is $150,000 to $200,000. One of those costs will def'mitely be incurred' if the project
occurs. Staff recommended that the developer be responsible for the construction of the
intersection and hold him harmless-if the intersection needs to be relocated. Staff feels that there
is some benefit of the intersection other than to the developer, which is why they made their
recommendation.

Motion carried.
