Councilmember introduced the following resolUtion and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-03- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF AN INTERIM USE PERMIT FOR <br />OUTSIDE STORAGE OF COMMERCIAL VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT ON A <br />RESIDENTIALLY ZONED PARCEL, BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT-# , AND <br />DECLARING TERMS OF THE SAME. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Gerald Bauer, hereinafter referred to as "Permittee", has properly applied to <br />the City of Ramsey (the "City") for an Interim Use Permit to allow outside storage of commercial <br />vehicles and equipment on the property generally known as 16130 Variolite Street and legally <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />The Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter 'and the Northwest Quarter of the <br />Southeast Quarter in Section 16, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on February 6, 2003, conducted a public <br />hearing and recommended City Council denial of the request; and <br /> <br /> WH.EREAS, the City Council met on February 25, 2003, and directed City Staff to. <br />prepare findings of fact to support approval of the request for IUP; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council met on March 11, 2003, adopted Findings of Fact # <br />and approved the request for an IUP. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY.THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />This permit is issued pursuant to Section 9.03.04A of the Ramsey City. Code. The conditions of <br />this permit are as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />The Permittee is hereby granted permission to storage commercial vehicles and <br />equipment on the Subject Property for a period not to exceed twenty-four months. The <br />term of the permit shall be from March 12, 2003 to March 12, 2005. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />All outside storage' of vehicles and equipment shall be in an orderly fashion on 2-inch <br />Class 5 surface. The number of vehicles and equipment is limited to 5 dump trucks, 1 <br />company truck, 1 bobcat, 1 paving machine, 2 rollers, and 3 trailers. <br /> <br />3) No vehicles or equipment shall be started prior to 6:00 a.m. and no vehicles may return to <br /> the Subject Property after 7:00 p:m., Monday through Saturday. . <br /> <br />4) The access shall be surfaced with a 2-inch Class 5 surface from the Variolite Street <br /> entrance to the area of the Subject Prope~nty containing the interim use activity. <br /> <br />-191- <br /> <br /> <br />
