Excavation: Contractor shall do all ndeeasary excavation required for the proper install- <br /> ation of his work. Trench to accommodate proposed grade changes and slope to drain <br /> when possible. <br />B Maintain trenches free of debris, material or obstructions that may damage pipe. <br />C. Backfill: Excavated soil may be used to backfill the remainder of the trench. All <br /> Backfill material shall be free from rock, large stone or other unsuitable substances. <br /> Backfilling of trenches contain/ng plastic piping shall be done when p~pe is cool to <br /> avoid excessive contraction. All backfill material will be compacted in 6" layers as it is <br /> brought up to finish grade as to insure that no settling results. Replace topsoil and <br /> compact to consistency and level of adjacent topsoil. <br /> <br />INSTALLATION OF PIPING: . .:': <br />A.
