~

CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION
Topic Report: Ramsey Town Center
By: Heidi Nelson, Interim City Administrator
Patrick Trudgeon, Community Development Director
Brian Olson, Public Works Director

Background:

Staff along with City Attorney Goodrich and Tom Bray of Briggs and Morgan will be
present to provide the City Council an update on the Ramsey Town Center project.
Among the topics that will be covered as part of the work session are:

. Update on discussions with MinnWest bank regarding overall project
. Status and timetable of Minn West foreclosure action
. Status of Ramsey Town Center Parkland
. Implications on default of Master Developer, including parks, mass grading,
stormwater, transportation improvements, streetscaping.

Action Statement:

This topic is mostly an update on the current status of the Ramsey Town Center that does
not need any specific action. However, the default of the Master Developer does have
serious implications on pending development proposals (i.e. Crestview, Anoka County
Medical Examiner's office) and Staff would like to receive direction on this issue. Staff
will bringforward options for consideration.

CCWS:

06/05/07
