CASE # <br /> <br /> RECEIVE BIDS AND AWARD CONTRACT <br />FOR SUNWOOD DRIVE LIFT STATION CONSTRUCTION <br />By: Brian E. Olson, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Improvement Project #03-21 consists o f installation of a sanitary sewer lift station facility to <br />serve the newly created Sunfish Lake Business Park, the sanitary sewer pipes have already been <br />installed as part of Improvement Project #99~52, Sunwood Drive Street and Utility Project. The <br />City has a development agreement that is signed by an interested party that would require the lift <br />station to be installed to receive sanitary sewer service to the property that they are interested in. <br />Authorization to advertise for bids was ordered on March 11, 2003, and bids are scheduled to be <br />received Monday, March 24, 2003. The bid results will be made available along with a resolution <br />awarding the project to the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />To be presented at the meeting. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to approve Resolution #03-03-XXX, awarding Project #03-21, Sunwood Drive Lift <br />Station to the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />CC: 03/25/03 <br /> <br />-145- <br /> <br /> <br />
