Section 8.01.03.a (Permits, Inspections and Fees) shall be replaced with the following text: <br /> <br />8.01.03 <br /> <br />Permits, Inspections and Fees. <br /> <br />a. The issuance of permits and the collection of fees shall be as authorized in Minnesota <br /> Statutes, 16B.62, subdivision 1. <br /> <br />Permit fees shall be assessed for work governed by this code in accordance with the <br />fee schedule adopted by City ordinance annually, or as the City Council may deem <br />necessary. In addition, a surcharge fee shall be collected on all permits for work <br />governed by this code in accordance with Minnesota Statute 16B.70. ' <br /> <br />Section 8.01.03 (Permits, Inspections and Fees) shall be amended to include the following text: <br /> <br />Additional Permits. Permits shall be required for re-roofing overlays and <br />replacement of exterior siding on all residential structures exceeding 120 square feet <br />in size. <br /> <br />Section 8.01.04 (Violations and Penalties) shall be added to read as follows: <br /> <br />8.01.04 <br /> <br />Violations and Penalities. A violation of the code is a misdemeanor <br />(Minnesota statutes 16B.69). <br /> <br />SECTION 2. SUMMARY <br /> <br />The following official summary of Ordinance #93-0__ has been approVed by the City Council of <br />the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance2 <br /> <br />It is the intent and effect of Ordinance #93-0 <br />Minnesota State Building Code. <br /> <br />to adopt a self-Perpetuating version of the <br /> <br />SECTION 3.
