<br />Council Member <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION TO RECRUIT <br />AN ASSISTANT CITY ENGINEER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Director has expressed a need to hire a full-time <br />regular Assistant City Engineer; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Assistant City Engineer position will be funded by the 2007 <br />General Fund Budget; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff has requested authorization to begin the recruitment process <br />for an Assistant City Engineer. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee. to do the following: <br /> <br />Grant staff authorization to begin the recruitment process for an Assistant City Engineer. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the followjng voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared dilly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 12th day of June, 2007. <br /> <br />-1 76- C:IDocuments and SettingslpmillerlLocal SettingslTemporary Intemet FileslOLK618\auth to recruit ACE.doc <br />
