<br />Council Member <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION FOR A YOLUNT ARY OSHA <br />WORKPLACE SAFETY CONSULTATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city of Ramsey is committed to protecting the health and safety <br />of its employees and residents; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city of Ramsey desires to be proactive by working with MN <br />OSHA Workplace Safety Consultation to protect the health and safety of employees and <br />residents; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff has requested authorization for a voluntary inspection by . <br />OSHA Workplace Safety Consultation. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />ConfIrms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br /> <br />Grant staff authorization to request a voluntary inspection by OSHA Workplace Safety <br />Consultation. <br /> <br />The motion for the addption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member, , and up~n vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voteh against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstLned: <br />and the following weJ absent: <br />I <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 12th day of June, 2007. <br /> <br />G:\Administration\Safety\req auth to conduct osha inspection 6-12-07.doc <br /> <br />-179- <br />
