<br />Finance Officer Lund indicated the pre-payment will be included on the Council agenda of <br />authorized bills. <br /> <br />Fire Chief Kapler stated the $360,432 included in the recommendation includes the pre-payment <br />discount. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Look, to recommend that the <br />City Council accept staff s recommendation to award the fire engine bid award to <br />General/Rosenbauer, including the installation of a traffic arrow light to be installed on the rear <br />of the truck at an additional cost of $711, for a total contract cost of $360,432. <br /> <br />Fire Chief Kapler commended the Truck Committee for knuckling down and pulling costs out, <br />and working within the budget. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Strommen, Councilmembers Elvig and Look.
