I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the follow~ng resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-11-295 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION RECEIVING PETITION AND CALLING FOR A FEASIBILITY <br />STUDY ON Ilv[PROVEi?[ENT PROJECT #02-40, TIlE EXTENSION OF .SANITARY <br />SE'vVER AND WATERMAIN TO SERVICE THE OAK TERRACE ESTATES MOBILE <br />I-I O ME PARK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has received a letter of petition requesting a feasibility study to <br />consider the extension of sanitary sewer and watermain to the Oak Terrace Estates mobile home <br />park, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS', the petition has been signed on behalf of Robert Larson, owner of 'the park, <br />and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Larson represents 100% of the parties benefited by the extension of <br />sewer and water utilities to the mobile home site, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City-Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the <br />City Charter and ~[innesota Statues concerning local improvements.. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT' RESOLVED BY TI-IE CITY COUNCIL OF TI-IE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the extension of sewer and <br />watermain to the Oak Terrace mobile home park has been filed with the City Council on <br />November 26, 2002 and; <br /> <br />That the petition is hereby declared to be sig-ned by the required percentage' of affected <br />property owners. Th/s declaration is made in conforrmity to City of Ramsey Code Sect/on <br />4.60 and Minnesota Statute Chapter 429. <br /> <br />_3) That the petition is hereby referred to the City Engineering DePartment and directed to <br /> prepare a feasibility study to the City CounciI with all convenient speed advising the Council <br /> in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to the.cost of <br /> the project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also Comment. as to <br /> whet. her. it should best be done as proposed or in conjunction w. ith some other improvement. <br /> <br />4.) That the above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project #0240. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Courfcilmember <br />Hendriksen. and upon vote being taken thereon, the following'voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />-167- <br /> <br /> <br />
