-304- Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #03-05-XXX RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING REPAIRS TO CITY BUILDINGS CONTRACT FOR ROOF WHEREAS,' on April 8, 2003, City Council adopted Resolution #03-04-081 approving the plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the City of Ramsey Roof Repairs to City Buildings, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law; and WHEREAS, the following is a summary of the two lowest quotes that were received: Bidder Park Perfection Four Seasons Amount ofBid $31,223.00 $33,291.00 AND WHEREAS, it appears that Four Seasons is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Four Seasons in the name of the City of Ramsey for the construction of Roof Repairs to City Buildings in the amount of $33,291.00. 2) That the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next to lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember ., and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I
