-310- <br /> <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #03-03-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE DENIAL OF PAYMENT FOR THE APRIL 30, 2003 <br /> STATEMENT SUBMITTED BY CHAMPLING TOWING <br /> FC # <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on April 22, 2003 the City Council authorized staff to enter into a contract <br />with North Star Towing to provide towing services for the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 1, 2003, the City received a statement from Champlin Towing <br />asking for payment for 23 tows provided to the City of Ramsey since 8/9/00, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the time when Champlin Towing started towing vehicles for the City, it <br />was understood that th. ere would be no charge for that service. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RANISEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) Denial of payment of $2,991.52 requested by Champlin Towing for services provided to <br /> the City from 8/9/00 to 4/17/03. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by, Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this day of ,2003. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
