He stated they are hoping for a recommendation to move
this forward to the City Council.

Consultant Gordon proceeded to go through the changes that resulted from the lhst meeting.

Mr. Gordon indicated those were the only comments from the last review meeting. He asked if
the Commission had any additional questions.

Chairperson Nixt asked if there are any particular areas Mr. Gordon feels have been significantly
reworked and could be difficult making the transition.

Mr. Gordon stated there were not really any policy issues, adding that what comes through are
engineering requirements at various levels of platting. He stated these requirements are already
being practiced, this just makes it part of the ordinance. ·

Chairperson Nixt asked if any requirements had been eliminated.

Mr. Gordon stated this has been an additive process to the code, not an elimination process.

Motion by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Brauer to close the public
hearing at 8:20 p.m.

Motion carried.
