CASE #: ,~ <br /> <br />REVIEW OF RESPONSES TO THE TOWN CENTER <br />ALTERNATIVE URBAN AREAWlDE REVIEW (AUAR). <br />CASE OF CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> By: Principal Planner Patrick Trudgeon, AICP <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On April 22, 2003 the City Council authorized the release of draft Tov3n Center <br />Alternative Urban Areawide Review (AUAR). The release of the Draft AUAR triggered <br />a 30-day review period that ended on May 14, 2003. Under the AUAR p~:ocess, the City <br />must respond to all comments and send out these responses to agencieg and persons <br />making the comments. As you can see, some of the responses are still being <br />formulated as this case is being prepared. Staff will update the Council on additional <br />responses at the May 27, 2003 meeting. <br /> <br />Please review the comments and the responses. Staff would like to release them so that <br />that AUAR process can continue. Once the responses are released, the agencies and <br />persons that commented on the AUAR have 10 days to object to the responses. If no one <br />objects within these 10 days, the City can then adopt the final AUAR doculnent. If there <br />are no objections to the responses, the City Council could conceivably approve the final <br />AUAR ctocument at their June l0th meeting.
