With a <br />variety of mixed land uses, higher density and a pedestrian-friendly environment, a <br />pedestrian system was part of the themes and desired outcomes for the Ramsey Town <br />Center design which emerged fi'om the Calthorpe lead planning effort for the Ramsey <br />Town Center sitel The mix of land uses, compactness and network of <br />greenways/drainage ways should induce bike and pedestrian trips for work, shopping, <br />school, entertainment, and recreational purposes.
