This Draft AUAR appears thorough and complete and we appreciate_ that em'!3(.. <br />coordination comments provided by DNR staff were taken into account. We offer the following <br />comments for your consideration. Please note that a number of the comments are editorial in <br />nature and do not require a response. <br /> <br />Item 8. Permits and Approvals Required <br /> <br />Since all options assume discharge to the fiver in one Corridor location or another (for <br />example, page 17-17), and since there are 'recommendations, as well as text and figure <br />references, for potential stormwater and wetland mitigation projects within the Mississippi <br />River Critical Area Corridor/WSR/MNRRA, the City of Ramsey should also include a permit <br />for "Environmental Permit Review and Approval as applicable for projects within the <br />Mississippi River Critical Area Corridor/Wild and.Scenic P,_iver District," in Table 8.1. <br /> <br />Item 9. Land Use <br /> <br />On page 9-2, paragraph 4, in the list of nearby environmental resources, we suggest that the <br />Mississippi River citation should also note that it is l'd. esignated a state Critical Area and Wild, <br />Scenic, and Recreational River." <br /> <br />Item 12.
