Board Member Bentz stated that he envisioned illustrations depicting the same time of
year, but in a drought versus a typical cycle with cattails and ducks.

Chairperson McDilda stated that there is a web site that shows types of wetlands at
different times of the year. He stated that the best way to get the seasons of a wetland
would be to go out and take photos of Ramsey's own wetlands.

Board Member Max stated that he liked the idea because it reinforces the importance of
wetlands and educates people about the fact that a wetland might be dry in drought times.

Board Member Bentz stated he was interested in getting different criteria for wetlands
when in different cycles.

Board Member Max suggested that someone take charge to find the water cycle section
pictures but to delete it from the book if nothing can be found.

Board Member Sibilski suggested that all EPB members search for something over the
next month.

Board Member aids suggested taking it out.

Environmental Coordinator Anderson stated that the book shouldn't be held up because
of it.

Board Member Max suggested giving it one more month.

Board Member Freeburg stated he would review information that he had one more time.

Board Member Olds suggested that specific contact names and e-mail address for
Suppliers of Native Seeds might be subject to change. He asked if it was wise to print
them in the Wetland Guidebook.

Chairperson McDilda suggested only including supplier names and where they're
located.

Board Member aids suggested using websites if available, but not telephone numbers.

Consensus of the Board is to use only names and city where the suppliers are located.

Chairperson McDilda stated that he liked the graphics on the next page.

Environmental Coordinator Anderson stated that the text was not very legible.

Board Member Bentz suggested grabbing the graphics again and re-typing the text.

Board Member Max provided Environmental Coordinator Anderson with the business
card of the person who created the original graphics.

Environmental Policy Board/ January 8, 2006
Page 12 of 15
