.

Board Member Bentz suggested that an acrobat file would make it easier to reference
with page numbers.

Chairperson McDilda referenced the next page, "Why are Wetlands Important", stating
that the title is self-explanatory. He referenced "What are the Different Types of
Wetlands" section, noting there will be graphics as part of the inventory.

Environmental Coordinator Anderson stated that Mr. Ron Hustvedt, Jr. suggested there
be pictures, but with the recent snow, photos taken now wouldn't be very useful.

Chairperson McDilda suggested using the Westwood Professional Services sample
pictures. He suggested telling citizens where the wetlands in the photos are located in
Ramsey.

Board Member Bentz asked if there could be a number for the wetland designations on a
map.

Environmental Coordinator Anderson asked Board Member Bentz if he was referring to
management classifications.

Chairperson McDilda suggested using something similar to the GIS maps of Ramsey
whereby the wetland types could be included.

.

Board Member Max suggested putting a relative coordinate on the map to indicate where
the wetlands are.

Board Member aids suggested the option to click on a picture that could lead to the map.

Board Member Bentz suggested that a picture could be exploded as a graphic.

Chairperson McDilda concurred that exploding pictures would give people a point of
reference on where they could find a particular type of wetland.

Board Member Max asked where the definitions came from.

Environmental Coordinator Anderson replied that he could not recall who worked on this
particular section to determine where the information came from so it could be correctly
referenced.

Board Member Freeburg asked if the definitions were part of the DNR poster that he
provided.

Environmental Coordinator Anderson stated that he no longer has the poster from the
meeting.

.

Chairperson McDilda stated that he could track down the poster for Environmental
Coordinator Anderson.

Environmental Policy Board!
