• <br />PERSONNEL COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Personnel Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: Chairperson David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Also Present: Human Resources Manager Givonna Reed Kone <br />Interim City Administrator Heidi A. Nelson <br />HRA Executive Director Frolik <br />Police Chief James Way <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairperson Jeffrey called the regular meeting of the Personnel Committee to order at 5:30 p.m. <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br />There was none. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />Motion by Councilmember Olson, seconded by Councihnember Dehen, to approve the agenda as <br />submitted. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Jeffrey, Councilmembers Olson and Dehen. Voting <br />No: None. <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br />Case #1: Consider Granting a Leave of Absence to a City Employee <br />Police Chief Way stated Drew Moldenhauer is a community service officer with the City of <br />Ramsey. He has been with the Police Department since January 24, 2007 and does a good job. <br />Mr. Moldenhauer would like to finish his schooling and would be gone from May 21, 2007 <br />through July 10, 2007, returning to work on July 11 Chief Way stated that Mr. Moldenhauer is <br />a very good employee and he would hate to lose him. He thinks Mr. Moldenhauer will make a <br />fine police officer some day.
