CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a special meeting on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: -Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br />Also Present: Interim City Administrator Heidi A. Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Brian H. Gaviglio, League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust Litigation <br />Management Attorney <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Gamec called the special meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 5:53 p.m. <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />Case #1: Discuss Litigation Re HSP & Associates (Vern Hegg) vs. City of Ramsey <br />City Attorney Goodrich announced the following discussions for closed session: Pending <br />lawsuit of HSP & Associates vs. the City of Ramsey. Mr. Goodrich indicated this is pending <br />litigation; the City has been served with a summons complaint. <br />The special City Council meeting was recessed to closed session at 5:55 p.m. The closed session <br />of the City Council was adjourned back to the special City Council meeting at 6:44 p.m. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br />Motion carried. <br />Special City Council / June 12, 2007 <br />--52— Page 2 of 3 <br />
