CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, April 22, 1997, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Tom Gamec <br />Councilmember Carolyn Beahen <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Councilmember Natalie Haas St&fen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />Finance Officer Jessie Hart <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Community Development Intern Kirk Skoog <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:02 p.m. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION OF COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARDS <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec presented Community Service Awards to Brian Simmons for a planting project in <br />Solstice Park, Nick Mueller for a planting project in Central Park, and to Brian May, Laura <br />Botts, Jody McGillivray and Nik Voelz for a tree planting project in River's Bend Park. <br /> <br />Dave Bawden, Prudential, presented Fire Chief Dean Kapler with a grant in the amount of <br />$1,692 for an automatic defibrillator. The Fire Department raised funds to match the grant. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to approve the <br />agenda as presented. <br /> <br />City Council/April 22, 1997 <br /> Page 3 of 18 <br /> <br /> <br />
