Voting <br />No: Councilmembers Beyer and Zimmerman. <br /> <br />Case #18: <br /> <br />Request for Final Plat Approval of Business Park 95 4th Addition; Case of <br />City of Ramsey <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that the City of Ramsey is in the process of platting five more <br />lots in Business Park 95 to accommodate new manufacturing, office, and warehouse facilities. <br />The area to be platted is generally south of McKinley Street and east of Sunfish Lake Boulevard <br />with one lot on the north side of McKinley. All lots will receive public access from McKinley <br />Street NW. All five of the lots meet the one-acre minimum area requirement. Lot 1, Block 1 is <br />approximately five feet deficient of the 200-foot frontage on a public road requirement. Staff <br />recommends approval of the five-foot deviation to facilitate a possible future extension of <br />McKinley Street to the north. A cash contribution will be required to satisfy park dedication <br />requirements and a grading and drainage plan will be provided as site plans for the individual lots <br />are received. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt Resolution <br />#97-05-138 granting final plat approval to Business Park 95 Fourth Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #19: <br /> <br />Request for Final Plat Approval of Business Park 95 - Fifth Addition; Case <br />of City of Ramsey <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that the City of Ramsey is in the process of platting the <br />Bjorklund and Julian Johnson property in Business Park 95. The purpose is to acquire the <br />eastern end of the Bjorklund property into an Outlot to be retained by the City for preservation of <br />tree cover in the area. The City is interested in this tree preservation in order to protect and <br />intensify the natural screening it provides between the heavy industrial uses on the east side of <br />Unity and the light industrial uses on the west side.
