WHEREAS, after considerable discussion in closed attorney - client meetings, the City Council <br />has concluded that it is unable to successfully achieve the public purpose of a redevelopment program <br />for the Subject Property as more fully described in the 2006 Resolution and the City's eminent domain <br />Petition filed in the eminent domain action described above. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. That the City Council finds that it is no longer necessary to acquire the Subject Property. <br />2. That the City Attorney is directed to file with the District Court a dismissal of the pending <br />eminent domain proceedings in accordance with procedures established by Minnesota. Statute, <br />Chapter 117. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember _ <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council the <br />day of July, 2007. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />City Administrator <br />RESOLUTION # 07-07 - <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />
