<br />Councilmember Jeffrey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-04-114 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CHANGING PART-TIME STATUS OF BUILDING MAINTENANCE <br />WORKER TO FULL-TIME STATUS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the new Municipal Center is experiencing a tremendous amount of evening <br />and daytime use; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has been difficult to provide evening coverage in the new Municipal <br />Center within the 32 hours that are currently budgeted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff has recommended that the City Council change the part-time status of <br />the building maintenance worker position to full-time; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this will allow staff presence in the Municipal Center during additional <br />evening hours and provide flexibility for weekend coverage as needed. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />1) Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br /> <br />Accept staffs recommendation to change the part-time status of the building maintenance <br />worker position to full-time. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Dehen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br />
