<br />Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-05-128 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING MAY 31, 2007 AS PASTOR BLAIR ANDERSON DAY <br />IN THE CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Blair Anderson, senior pastor at Lord of Life Church In Ramsey IS <br />resigning as pastor to pursue new opportunities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Pastor Anderson has served Lord of Life Church in Ramsey for the past 21 <br />years; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Pastor Anderson has been involved in many programs and activities over <br />the years within the City of Ramsey, thereby making a significant impact on this community; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey would like to show appreciation to <br />Pastor Blair Anderson for his contributions to our community by proclaiming May 31, 2007 as <br />Pastor Blair Anderson Day in the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council hereby proclaims May 31, 2007, as "Pastor Blair Anderson Day in <br />the City of Ramsey". <br /> <br />That the motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Elvig and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br />
