Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to adopt Resolution//97-06- <br />167 to amend the 1997 Schedule of Rates, Fees and Charges to include a yearly antenna lease <br />rate of $12,000. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Beahen, Haas Steffen and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberBeyer. <br /> <br />Case #11: Release of Easement on Front Street <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich presented a map (Exhibit B, attached) showing a parcel which the City <br />owns along Front Street, which is now Riverdale Drive. The parcel next to it is landlocked and <br />they would like an ingress and egress driveway. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to grant an <br />ingress and egress driveway permanent easement across the City-owned parcel on Front Street <br />a.k.a. Riverdale Drive on the south side of the Econ Marketing property to Econ Marketing and <br />that staff look into the consideration of the sale of the property to the adjacent land owner. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Haas Steffen, Beahen and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberBeyer. <br /> <br />MAYOR/COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />1) Donation of Computer <br /> <br />Consensus of the Council was to accept the report form the City Attorney and donate one of the <br />City's used computers to the Fish Pond which is a Christian oriented youth center in the City of <br />Anoka. <br /> <br />2) Comprehensive Plan Review <br /> <br />Councilmembers Haas Steffen and Zimmerman and staff will meet with the firm of Hoisington <br />Koegler Group Inc. to negotiate a work plan for the Comprehensive Plan review. The meeting <br />will take place at 1:00 on Wednesday, July 2. The plan will be brought to the next Council <br />meeting for consideration. <br /> <br />3) Vision-Ease <br /> <br />The Vision-Ease facility is nearing completion and they are asking the Council to visit. <br />Consensus was that it be done on July 1, 1997 at 5:30 p.m. <br /> <br />4) Shorewood RV <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec attended the Shorewood RV open house and stated he is very impressed with the <br />business and facility. <br /> <br />City Council/June 24, 1997 <br />Page 16 of 17 <br /> <br /> <br />
