She complimented Council and staff on the <br />plan to review the comp plan and their involvement in Youth First, however, she felt that the <br />City should look more closely at the costs of development. There may be an increased tax base, <br />but there is also increased cost due to traffic, fire protection, police protection, schools, etc. She <br />wondered if the City could continue to offer programs for youth if it continues to grow so <br />rapidly. We have quality standards here and a quality of life. She asked that Council really think <br />before giving approval for high density. She suggested looking at other cities' open space <br />initiative bonds. <br /> <br />Lisa Boje, 7528 ~ 148th Avenue NW, Ramsey ~ stated she was present due to traffic concerns and <br />would not mind paying to have their street cul-de-sac'd. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that the City Attorney would like to add Case #15: Release <br />of Easement along Front Street. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to approve the <br />agenda as amended. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beahen and Haas <br />Steffen. Voting No: None.
