COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Request for an Interim Use Permit for a Temporary Office Structure; Case <br />of Transwest, Inc. (Communicor) <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that Transwest, Inc. has submitted an application for an <br />interim use permit to place a 720 square foot modular office structure at 6100 Industry Avenue <br />NW. They are planning to use the temporary office structure for a one year period while they <br />assess their building space needs and develop a plan for expansion of this address or relocation to <br />a new site. The Planning Commission conducted a public hearing and there were no verbal or <br />written comments submitted in regard to the request. The Planning Commission and staff <br />recommend approval of the request. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt <br />Resolution #97-07-184 adopting Findings of Fact #0435 relating to a request for an interim use <br />permit for a temporary office structure on the property generally known as 6100 Industry Avenue <br />NW. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Haas Steffen, Beyer, Beahen and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt <br />Resolution #97-07-185 approving the issuance of an interim use permit for a temporary structure <br />and declaring terms of same. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Haas Steffen, Beyer, Beahen and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: Review Code Requirements for Metal Accessory Buildings <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that the code requirements for metal accessory buildings is a <br />zoning issue that keeps resurfacing.
