PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted an informational meeting on Tuesday, September 4, 1997, <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen B ouelvard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota, relating <br />to the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Carolyn Beahen <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Councilmember Natalie Haas Steffen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />Administrative Services Manager Linda Waite Smith <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec opened the meeting at 7:07 p.m. <br /> <br />BUSINESS <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec announced that the City is working on updating its comprehensive plan and this is <br />the first of several informational-type meetings. The firm of Hoisington Koegler, Inc. has been <br />hired to work with the City and Mr. Fred Hoisington and Mr. Brad Scheib are present. <br /> <br />Fred Hoisington talked about what good sense comprehensive plalming makes and pointed out <br />the purposes of public planning. He also noted the purpose of meeting and reviewed the <br />tentative meeting schedule.
