84.88 <br /> <br />84.89 <br />84.90 <br /> <br />84.91 <br /> <br />84.911 <br /> <br />97B.045 <br /> <br />97B.051 <br /> <br />97B.651 <br />609.68 <br /> <br />Subd. 2 <br /> <br />Subd. 2 <br /> <br />Subd. 2 <br /> <br />Subd. 3 <br /> <br />Subd. 5b <br /> <br />Subd. 2 <br /> <br />Owner Responsibility - Penalties. <br />The registered owner of a snowmobile can be cited for the illegal operation of <br />their snowmobile by others unless the owner can show that the sled was stolen <br />or not in use at the time of the alleged unlawful act, or if the owner furnishes the <br />name of the operator. <br />Confiscation of Snowmobile use in Burglary. <br />RV Trespassing <br />Within 7 County Metro area <br /> 1. No person shall enter land ANYTIME without the owners verbal or <br /> written permission, except where authorized by law. <br />Outside 7 County Metro area. <br /> 1. No person shall enter land AFTER being notified either orally or by <br /> written notice by the owner, occupant or lessee not to do so. <br />Gross Misd. RV Trespass if: <br /> 1. Knowingly disregard signs prohibiting trespass. <br /> 2. Trespass after landowner tells you not to. <br /> 3. Violate trespass law twice in three years. <br />Operating Under the Influence. <br /> 1. No person shall operate or be in physical control of a snowmobile or <br /> ATV anywhere in this state or on the ice of any boundary water under <br /> the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. <br /> 2. When a person's alcohol concentration is over .10% within two <br /> hours of operation. <br /> <br />Arrest. <br /> <br /> 1. A Peace Officer may arrest upon probable cause a person for a <br /> violation of subd. 1 without a warrant and without regard to whether the <br /> violation was committed in the officers presence. <br />Screening Test - PBT <br /> Can require the operator to submit to PBT but cannot be used as <br /> evidence in a criminal trial. <br />Enhanced Penalties. Gross Misdemeanor 1.2 in 5 years <br /> 2.3 or more in 10 years <br />Chemical Testing <br /> Shall be administered iff <br /> 1. The person was lawfully placed under arrest. <br /> 2. Involved in an accident with property damage or injury. <br /> 3. Refused to take PBT. <br /> 4. PBT indicated. 10% or more. <br />A blood or urine test can be requested even after a breath test if controlled <br />substances are suspected. <br />Refusal - Penalties. <br />If a person refuses no test will be given but: <br /> 1. It will be reported to Commissioner and a civil fine of $500.00 will <br /> be imposed and <br /> 2. Loss of snowmobile priveleges for 1 year. <br />Transporting Firearms. <br /> 1. Unloaded and in a gun case expressly made to carry a fkearm. <br /> 2. Exception: Disabled persons with a permit. <br />Transporting Archery Bows (must be either): I. Unstrung. <br /> 2. Completely contained in a case. <br />A person cannot use a MV to drive, chase, run over or kill an animal. <br />Littering <br /> <br /> <br />
