<br />Councilmember _ introduced the follo.wing resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />c., <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-07-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PAY NO 4 TO RYAN CONTRACTING FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #06-24 EBONY ADDITION UTILITY AND STREET <br />IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Hakanson Anderson Associates Inc. has prepared plans and specifications for <br />Improvement Project 06-24 which consist of bituminous surfacing, drainage improvements, sanitary <br />sewer, watermain, and miscellaneous construction on Ebony Street from 141st Avenue to McKinley <br />Street; and bituminous surfacing and drainage improvements on McKinley Street from Ebony Street <br />to the western boundary of the Ebony Addition; and has presented such plans and specifications to the <br />Council for approval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on May 23, 2006, City Council adopted a resolution approvmg the plans and <br />specifications for the above referenced work; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Improvement Project #06-24, bids were <br />received, opened and tabulated according to law; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS,- Public Works Director/Principal Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the completed <br />work and recommends partial pay No 1 to Ryan Contracting in the amount of $217,179.50. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the completed <br />work and recommends partial pay No 2 to Ryan Contracting in the amount of $64,948.36. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal Engineer Brian Olson has inspected the completed <br />work and recommends partial pay No 3 to Ryan Contracting in the amount of$21,318.01. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director/Principal Engineer nnan Olson has inspected the completed <br />work and recommends partial pay No 4 to Ryan Contracting in the amount of$30,189.24. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />That the City Councifhereby authorizes partial payment to Ryan Contracting for hnprovement <br />Project #06-24 in the amount of$30,189.24. <br /> <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of July 24,2007. <br /> <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #07-07-XXX <br />Page 1 of2 <br /> <br />-81- <br />
