<br />MethodoloGY <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br />In order to reflect a County-wide perspective in its work, committee members <br />exchanged infonnation on current economic development activities in their <br />respective communities and identified broad economic development goals <br />having County-wide significance (Appendix C). They also participated in the <br />design and dissemination of the Local Government Inventory Questionnaire <br />used to gather data on economic development activities and needs from each <br />citY and township (Appendix D). <br /> <br />At the committee's request, the chief elected official and chief administrative <br />officer of each city and township received a letter explaining the committee's <br />charge and asking for their assistance in completing the Local Government <br />Inventory Questionnaire. City and township representatives were also <br />infonned of the dates and times of future committee meetings. <br /> <br />Eighteen of the 21 communities completed the I.,... Government Inventory <br />Questionnaire.
